Spanish is Easy! offers an Immersion Activity called:

La Sobremesa.

In Spanish “Sobremesa” means: “table talk or after dinner conversation”

La Sobremesa is an activity in which a small group of students (usually 4 or 5) have the opportunity to practice Only Spanish in a fun Conversation for 45 minutes to one hour. The Professor also participates in the activity with the students.

• The main requirement is to speak only Spanish.

• A specific topic, video, short movie, podcast or reading in Spanish is given in advance for the students in order for them to be ready and to have a discussion about it including questions for the other students.

• La Sobremesa is a separate activity from the Lesson Packages. It has a separate fee.

• La Sobremesa is coordinated based on the availability of the students who want to participate.
